📝 Publications

Persistence-guided Prescribed Topological Simplification
Linxuan Rong, Tao Ju
ACM Transactions on Graphics (Proc. ACM SIGGRAPH 2026)
A novel persistence-guided framework for topological simplification that prescribes the target topology exactly.
Our approach supports both cutting and filling operations to resolve unwanted topological features, and generalizes to arbitrary cell complex representations including tetrahedral meshes, cubical volume grids, and Voronoi cells.
